Exercise qualifications

Review Update

3563 New Zealand Certificate in Exercise (Level 4)
3564 New Zealand Certificate in Exercise (Level 5)
3791 New Zealand Diploma in Exercise (Level 6)

Toi Mai has completed the review of the above qualifications. These have now been approved by NZQA and will be listed on their website shortly. Updates to the qualifications included:

• Level 4 – graduate profile wording updated around business practices, general population and group exercise. Change to the distribution of credits across GPO 1 and 2
• Level 5 – graduate profile wording updated to include business and professional skills, and clarification of the wording related to allied health professional networks
• General Conditions of the Programme – Diversion and Inclusion statement added and legislation updated
• award, evidence requirement and transition statements updated to the latest wording
• Level 6 – given there has been no usage for this qualification and following stakeholder feedback the qualification will be expired.
