Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Multi-sector) qualifications

Review Update

3625 New Zealand Certificate in Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Multi-sector) (Level 3)
3627 New Zealand Diploma in Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Multi-sector) (Level 5)
3628 New Zealand Diploma in Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Multi-sector)

Toi Mai has completed the review of the above qualifications. These have now been approved by NZQA and will be listed on their website shortly. Updates to the qualifications include:

  • removal of “multi-sector” from the titles
  • Diversion and Inclusion statement added to “General Conditions of the Programme” to ensure mātauranga Māori is embedded throughout the programme of study
  • minor edits to pathways
  • award statement and evidence requirement statement updated to the latest wording.

 

3626 New Zealand Certificate in Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Multi-sector) (Level 4)
Given there has been no usage for this qualification and following stakeholder feedback, the qualification will be expired with a last assessment date of December 2025.
