We want to ensure that our unit standards are current and meet the needs of industry. We have found that a number of L4–6 outdoor recreation standards have had very little to no usage over the last five years, and as a result, we recommend the following unit standards are expired with the last date of assessment of 31 December 2026.
For providers and standard setting bodies, maintaining resources for unit standards that aren’t being used is not sustainable. By expiring these standards, it will allow organisations to direct resources towards qualifications and standards that are in demand by industry and learners.
