Over the past 25 years, Rhonda Kite, ONZM (Te Aupōuri, Ngai Tākoto, Ngāti Kuri) has held a variety of executive and governance positions in the film and technology industries, with an emphasis on the development of Māori screen content and digital storytelling. This includes the boards of Whakaata Māori, NZ on Air, SPADA, and Nga Aho Whakaari. Rhonda was nominated for Toi Mai WDC governance council by SPADA. In 2018 she was honoured with a ONZM for her contribution to Technology for Film & Television and in 2022 was inducted into the NZ Business Hall of Fame for Women Entrepreneurs.
