The Toi Mai Workforce Development Council will be closing operations from 19 December, and disestablished from 31 December 2025. The Services Industry Skills Board; Electrotechnology and Information Technology Industry Skills Board; Food and Fibre Industry Skills BoardConstruction and Specialist Trades Board will pick up its functions.

Te Poururuku Rāngai Pā Manaaki | General Manager Pathways and Communications

Tia (Te Whānau-ā-Apanui, Ngāti Maniapoto ki Tainui, Ngāti Kahungunu) wants Māori to succeed as Māori. With oversight of communications and marketing, vocational pathways and equity, she’s passionate about developing and profiling clearer pathways into the workforce industries of Toi Mai.

As Te Poururuku Rāngai Pā Manaaki, she brings broad experience to her multi-faceted role at Toi Mai, which includes manaakitanga for our kaimahi. Trained as a teacher, she has also worked in governance and strategic planning, marketing and communications, postgraduate recruitment and career development.
