The Toi Mai Workforce Development Council will be closing operations from 19 December, and disestablished from 31 December 2025. The Services Industry Skills Board; Electrotechnology and Information Technology Industry Skills Board; Food and Fibre Industry Skills Board; Construction and Specialist Trades Board will pick up its functions.

New Zealand Certificate in Recreation Safety Auditing (Level 6) [Ref 2302] to be expired

Toi Mai is planning to expire the above qualification due to little or no usage.

The New Zealand Certificate in Recreation Safety Auditing (Level 6) has had only one completion since 2016. There are also no providers with an approved programme to deliver this, which means no one can currently enrol in it.

Also to be expired is the associated standard 28190 “Demonstrate knowledge of the requirements specified in ISO19011:2018, Guidelines for auditing management systems”.
