The Toi Mai Workforce Development Council will be closing operations from 19 December, and disestablished from 31 December 2025. The Services Industry Skills Board; Electrotechnology and Information Technology Industry Skills Board; Food and Fibre Industry Skills Board will pick up its functions.

Toi Mai has completed the review of the following qualifications. These have now been approved by NZQA and updated versions listed on their website.

  • 3563 New Zealand Certificate in Exercise (Level 4)
  • 3564 New Zealand Certificate in Exercise (Level 5)
  • Expiring 3791 New Zealand Diploma in Exercise (Level 6)

 

  • 3565 New Zealand Certificate in Freestyle Group Exercise (Level 4)
  • 3582 New Zealand Certificate in Pre-choreographed Group Exercise (Level 3)
  • Expiring 3566 New Zealand Certificate in Pre-designed Exercise Instruction (Level 3)

 

  • 3625 New Zealand Certificate in Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Level 3)
  • Expiring 3626 New Zealand Certificate in Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Multi-sector) (Level 4)
  • 3627 New Zealand Diploma in Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Level 5)
    3628 New Zealand Diploma in Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Level 6)
