We are currently reviewing qualifications in Performing Arts and would like your feedback on proposed draft qualifications. The following qualifications have been reviewed:
The qualifications were created in 2017 as part of the mandatory review of qualifications in Performing Arts and were listed alongside discipline-specific qualifications in Dance, Music and Drama. The Level 3 took a more general approach while those at Levels 4–6 were initially designed to accommodate broader and more integrated performance fields, such as Pacific Dance, Musical Theatre and Circus, which combine multiple performance disciplines.
Both the subject-specific and these general performing arts qualifications have been reviewed concurrently with the changes proposed below being informed by both the discipline-specific advisory groups, as well as those offering training in integrated performance fields.
