Proposed changes across the qualifications

• The strategic purpose statements at Levels 4–6 have been amended to clarify that the scope of the qualifications can cover any integrated performance field. Specific references to Pacific Dance, Musical Theatre and Circus have been removed accordingly. 

• GPOs have been amended to better reflect required competencies for graduates in a range of performance disciplines and fields, including performance and ensemble skills, personal wellbeing, and professional practice. The amendments also more clearly articulate progression between the qualifications at different levels. 

• General conditions for programmes have been updated and grouped under subheadings for Programme Design, Practical Experience and Professional Standards. These statements are to assist programme developers and reflect a strengthened emphasis on the integration of te ao Māori and other cultural perspectives.
