Review of Journalism

Toi Mai Ohu Ahumahi have completed a scheduled review of qualifications in Journalism, created as part of the Mandatory Review of Qualifications and listed in 2015.

The following qualifications were reviewed in 2022:

1871 New Zealand Certificate in Journalism (Level 4).

3208 New Zealand Diploma in Journalism (Level 5).

3209 New Zealand Diploma in Journalism (Level 6).

Main changes:

• The New Zealand Diploma in Journalism (Level 5) was revised to better match current industry practice and need.
• The New Zealand Certificate in Journalism (Level 4) and the New Zealand Diploma in Journalism (Level 6) were expired without replacement due to the lack of uptake.
