Waka Ama unit standards review

Tēnā koutou e ngā kaitiaki o Waka Ama.

The following unit standards for Waka Ama have been reviewed:

Level 2
30810 Demonstrate and describe waka ama paddling and safety skills
30811 Demonstrate capsize drills for waka ama

 

The review has now been completed with the updated standards approved by NZQA and listed on their website. Unit 30810 has been reduced to 12 credits and now incorporates the requirements of Unit 30811, which will expire at the end of December 2025.
