The following skill standards have been developed to support the New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5) [ref. 2596]:
The proposed standards were developed in conjunction with Te Pūkenga and an expert advisory group. These standards were primarily developed to facilitate programmes that include work-based learning, and they have been designed to accommodate all delivery types.
The learning outcomes and assessment criteria in the standards were developed to collectively align with the graduate profile outcomes (GPOs) in the New Zealand Diploma, while the indicative criteria sections provide a recommended base of learning that underpin the listed learning outcomes for each standard.
