Toi Mai is developing three new micro-credentials relating to Outdoor Management and Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC).

Teacher in Charge Micro-credential

This micro-credential is designed for individuals working in or aspiring to EOTC leadership roles. It will equip learners with the skills to facilitate and oversee the planning, implementation, and review of EOTC events. Key competencies include applying planning procedures, designing programs, and managing risks and safety to ensure effective and safe event delivery.

EOTC Coordination Micro-credential

Targeted at those working in or aspiring to EOTC coordination roles within schools or other organisations, this micro-credential focuses on managing and reviewing EOTC management systems. Learners will gain skills in risk management, determining staff competency, building staff capability, and evaluating events for continuous improvement.

Outdoor Management Micro-credential

This micro-credential is designed for individuals in the outdoor recreation sector who want to enhance their ability to analyse and apply organisational safety compliance requirements. It also focuses on developing leadership skills to mentor and educate emerging leaders, guides, and instructors in outdoor activities. Graduates will be equipped to support and develop others, ensuring safety and effective leadership in outdoor settings.
